Big Media Gene

The Tribune Review ran an article about PodCamp Pittsburgh 2 today and, inexplicably, I was one of the folks featured in the piece. What with all the smart people down there talking about exciting stuff I barely understand, I hardly feel worthy of such attention. There is one thing I’d like to correct for the record–the article says that I went to PodCamp hoping to "enhance his Web site by finding a design expert", when of course my site has ALREADY been enhanced by Cindy and Anthony Closkey at Big Big Design. You’re looking at my enhanced site at this very moment…unless you’re reading my feed, in which case you should click through and check it out. Because I like it very much, thank you.

I’ll write a lot more about what I learned at PodCamp this past weekend, but I think right now I’m just gonna collapse. That’s all I’m good for at the moment.

UPDATE: Should I mention how disturbing it was to see myself referred to as, "Bromberg, 38, was one of…" I’m 38 years old. Seeing it in print makes it more real. I will now curl up on the floor and rock back and forth.

Evidently, 38 is the new 28… or the 30’s are the new 20’s… something like that. Whatever the saying, it keeps me from rocking back and forth. 🙂

    Well, I was there, and you didn’t look a day over 37. : )

Hence my Howard Hughes-esque avoidance of publicity. I’m still waiting for my “Oh shit! I’m 40” moment and damn if I’ll let some reporter instigate it.
