The Last Waltz

For me, anyway. I’m pretty sure this is my last day covering the 2007 World Series of Poker. Pauly and B.J. will handle the final table and I don’t know that I’ll be needed. It’s kind of a weird feeling…you know when it’s the last day of school, and you’ve been there every day for nine months, but this is the LAST day you’ll be there…that’s how this feels. Felt that way yesterday too.

I thought about coming to the Rio on Tuesday to watch the Final Table…nah. Not after watching some of the late-night action last night. Boring as all frickin’ get out. I went up to the Milwaukee’s Best Light No-Limit lounge and had a couple of beers. Mistake. Beast Light is shit beer. You knew that, I knew that. But I was thirsty, and it was there. Never again. Beer should not give you a tummyache.

Hey, just learned from Change100 that I was on TV last night! You can see me during the first event ESPN broadcast, the Mixed Hold-Em Event. I’m the desperately handsome guy sitting at a computer, typing.

Cards are in the air, time to get to work. Might be a long, long day today. The last day.

Thank you for all the great WSOP reporting. Having a personal stake in this years WSOP it was great to read reports from some of my favorite bloggers. Have fun on any remaining days you have in Vegas you can catch up on your sleep when you get home. Try the 10/7 Bonus poker machines right by the main valet door of the Palms (where the limos pull up). Or check out to find out where the full pay machines are in any casino. Sorry I didn’t get to meet you when I had the chance. I heard through the grape vine that you were great to work with. Hope you enjoyed the cookies.
