Up and Running

Got access to the UB blog, just posted my first…post. So I’m gonna catch up on the other stuff I wrote yesterday that never got posted, do some lizardblogging (you’ll see) and work my tailfeathers off, as Mom would say.

Got the Mother of All Head Colds last night, but I’m feeling better. Feeling better now that I’ve actually got something posted. Back to work!

Incredible but true. An online Poker Player is literally trembling and shaking with fear as she is waiting to confront some of the worldÂ’s strongest players next week in the UK Poker Open. Pam Brown, a 50 year old mother of two, had never had much interest in Poker and had never played Texas HoldÂ’em until one day she joined her husband while he was playing online.

One thing leading to another, she saw an add to enter some Open Championship and her husband Alan decided to have a go, so she thought she might as well have a go tooÂ…She ended played until the early hours and finished second, next to a 21 year old pro.

She said she could not believe her luck. But the shock really hit her when she realized what she had accomplished; she had just qualified for the UK Poker Open, competing for a prize of over $855 000. This kind of story is not as unusual as one may think.

Take doylesroom.com where players can register to the site and receive tuition from the man who is behind the Doylesroom network, Doyle Brunson.

Players at Poker enjoy success and found that playing poker is a pleasant and enjoyable way of making some fast extra cash.

Having problems with the pics. They aren’t re-sizing correctly when you click the smaller one, and when I try to upload them thru Yahoo they appear bigger than John’s and then…disappear. Something that will hopefully be corrected, as I’d like to keep taking pictures. Makes it a bit easier to show what’s going on.
