Gene Bromberg is Pittsburgh's most decorated poker blogger — which, he admits, is like being the best shortstop in Greenland.

See, I'm of a different mind about this. I've spent the last four WSOPs totally nose-to-the-grindstone, and this year I am very much looking forward to spending some time with family and friends, doing some fishing and golfing and campng, and basically enjoying one of the very best times of year in the upper Midwest. (Weather-wise, June and July in Vegas sucks.)

I will miss lots and lots of my friends this summer, but I have zero desire to be there this time around.

Congrats on getting hitched, by the way!
