Start – RUN – MSCONFIG – Go to the Startup Tab and uncheck files you do not want to run when windows start.

I suggest one at a time, rebooting every time just to make sure you are not unchecking something you need for your printer or lan card.

When I was 12 I pulled a corn dog out of a freezer pack and put it in the microwave for 30 seconds. The outside got hot, so I figured it was ready. Nope. Biting into the middle went from hot to icy shard cold in an instant. I yakked immediately, and haven’t had a hot dog in the 19 years that followed.

I can tell similar stories about yogurt and sour cream too…

As I recall, they were fat-free fish filets that were from my wife’s FIRST apartment that nobody had the compulsion to throw away… They were not opened there, nor in her 2nd apartment, nor at my house, so that puts them around, ahem, 4 years old. Eww.
